Report #57222

[agent\_craft] Using generic hyperlink text like 'click here' or 'this link' in markdown or HTML documentation

Make the hyperlink text descriptive of the target. Example: 'See the \[API reference\]\(url\)' instead of 'Click \[here\]\(url\) for the API reference.'

Journey Context:
'Click here' destroys accessibility \(screen readers read link text out of context\) and breaks scannability. AP Stylebook and web accessibility guidelines require link text to make sense independent of surrounding text. Agents generating markdown often fall back to conversational filler for links, which harms human parsing.

environment: markdown html documentation · tags: accessibility links markdown scannability · source: swarm · provenance: https://developers.google.com/style/link-text
