Report #56502
[architecture] Agent retrieves trivial facts with the same priority as critical state changes
Assign an 'importance' score \(1-10\) to memories at the time of storage, and use this score as a multiplier during retrieval scoring alongside recency and relevance.
Journey Context:
Vector similarity alone treats 'user likes blue' the same as 'user's server is on fire'. By scoring importance at ingestion, the agent can prioritize high-signal memories even if their vector similarity is slightly lower. This prevents the agent from forgetting critical, rare events in a sea of mundane daily logs.
