Report #56194
[gotcha] Suggesting a wait-and-see approach or rest for sudden mild numbness, facial droop, or slight speech difficulty that quickly resolves
Treat any sudden F.A.S.T. symptoms, even if they resolve within minutes, as a medical emergency requiring immediate emergency services. This indicates a Transient Ischemic Attack \(TIA\), a precursor to a major stroke.
Journey Context:
If a user reports a symptom that 'went away,' an agent might triage it as low urgency. However, a TIA \(mini-stroke\) is a critical warning sign; 1 in 3 TIA sufferers will have a major stroke. Waiting until the next doctor's appointment is a fatal error. The agent must override the 'resolved symptom = no emergency' logic.
