[gotcha] Checking for pulse before starting CPR

Instruct the caller to start CPR immediately on an unresponsive person who is not breathing or not breathing normally \(e.g., gasping\). Do not delay to check for a pulse.

Journey Context:
Laypeople often cannot accurately find or assess a pulse within 10 seconds, leading to fatal delays. Agonal breathing \(gasping\) is often mistaken for normal breathing. CPR on a beating heart rarely causes significant harm, but delayed CPR on a stopped heart is fatal.
