[research] Agent tracing is fragmented and vendor-locked; standard APM tools don't understand LLM token usage or tool-calling spans

Instrument agents using OpenTelemetry semantic conventions for LLMs \(OpenLLMetry\) to unify traces across frameworks into standard backends.
