[gotcha] The AI constantly apologizes \('I'm sorry, I made a mistake...'\) when corrected, cluttering the UI and slowing down the user
Suppress apologetic prefixes in the UI layer \(via regex or system prompt\) and just provide the corrected answer directly.
Journey Context:
RLHF heavily trains models to be polite and apologetic. While good for raw chat, in a productivity tool, reading 'As an AI, I apologize for the error...' multiple times a day is infuriating and wastes cognitive load. Stripping these prefixes makes the tool feel snappier and more like a utility than a chatty bot.
