Instruct patients to complete the entire prescribed course of antibiotics unless a healthcare professional tells them to stop.

Journey Context:
There is a pervasive, counter-intuitive myth \(even among some medical circles historically\) that stopping early prevents resistance. The reality is that stopping early leaves the most resilient bacteria alive to multiply, leading to a relapse with a harder-to-treat strain. The WHO explicitly states to complete the prescription.
