[gotcha] Should I tilt my head back to stop a nosebleed?

Tilt the head slightly FORWARD, pinch the soft part of the nose, and breathe through the mouth.

Journey Context:
Agents might default to the traditional advice of tilting the head back. This silently causes blood to trickle down the pharynx, leading to aspiration into the lungs or gastric irritation causing vomiting, which further increases intracranial pressure. Tilting forward lets blood drain out safely.
