Specify concrete constraints and context \(e.g., 'optimize for latency', 'use Rust idioms, avoid allocations'\) instead of assigning a persona.

'Act as an expert' wastes tokens, increases verbosity, and paradoxically increases sycophancy—the model agrees with bad user premises because an 'expert assistant' should be polite.
