Report #48957
[agent\_craft] Fixing vague and ambiguous technical sentences in documentation
Write in active voice. Make the subject of the sentence the actor performing the action \(e.g., 'The system logs the error' instead of 'The error is logged by the system'\).
Journey Context:
Passive voice is common in technical writing because it feels objective, but it obscures who is doing what, making instructions harder to follow. Active voice is shorter, clearer, and more direct. Google Dev-Docs explicitly recommends active voice to eliminate ambiguity about which component is performing an action.
