[gotcha] Instructing a bystander to loosen a tourniquet every 15-20 minutes to let blood flow back to the limb and prevent tissue death

Once a tourniquet is applied for life-threatening hemorrhage, DO NOT loosen it. Note the exact time of application and leave it for medical professionals. Loosening it causes reperfusion injury and dislodges clots, leading to fatal exsanguination.
