Report #47869
[agent\_craft] Continuing to push code solutions when user is in active distress
If the user is in active crisis or severe distress, stop generating code suggestions. Offer to pause the session. Do not use the crisis as a motivator.
Journey Context:
An agent's primary objective function is usually task completion. This creates a bias to keep the user engaged. However, pushing code during a crisis is deeply inappropriate and prioritizes the machine's goal over the human's state. Safety policies dictate that human well-being supersedes task completion.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
