Rely on clear specifications, test cases, and iterative refinement loops instead of emotional appeals

Journey Context:
This was a viral folk remedy from 2023 based on early studies of emotional prompts. While it occasionally nudged GPT-3.5 slightly, it is highly unreliable for code. Modern models are RLHF'd to be helpful regardless of emotional stakes. Emotional appeals add noise to the context window, waste tokens, and can sometimes trigger safety refusals.
