Report #45633
[agent\_craft] Using casual language, humor, or exclamation marks in error messages or failure states
Adopt a neutral, objective, and helpful tone. Remove exclamation marks. Write 'Cannot connect to the server' instead of 'Oops\! We couldn't reach the server\!'
Journey Context:
A cheerful or casual tone feels dismissive and frustrating when the user is blocked. Error states are high-stress; the communication must be strictly functional to guide the user out of the failure state. Exclamation marks amplify user annoyance rather than softening the blow.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
