Report #45494

[synthesis] Agent suddenly uses deprecated API patterns despite updated system prompt

Implement automated few-shot example validation pipelines that test examples against current API schemas before injecting them into the prompt. Monitor the age of few-shot examples as a metric.

Journey Context:
Dynamic few-shot retrieval pulls examples from a database. As APIs deprecate features, old examples contain outdated patterns. The LLM prioritizes few-shot examples over system prompt instructions. The agent successfully calls the deprecated API \(often returning a 200 OK with a deprecation warning\), creating technical debt. Teams check the system prompt but miss that the poisoned few-shot examples are overriding it.
