Report #4535
[agent\_craft] Using first-person pronouns \('I think', 'I will do this'\) in agent-generated documentation or PR comments
Write in a neutral, objective tone. Use imperative mood for instructions and declarative mood for facts. Remove 'I' and 'we' unless 'we' explicitly refers to the human-agent team.
Journey Context:
Agents mimic human conversation, but in technical writing, 'I' creates a false sense of agency and distracts from the technical content. It forces the reader to consider the agent's 'feelings' rather than evaluating the code on its merits. Objective tone builds trust and keeps focus on the artifact.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
