[counterintuitive] Should I put all relevant context into the LLM prompt

Curate context ruthlessly. Include only strictly necessary information and place critical instructions at the beginning or end of the prompt.

Journey Context:
The intuitive developer belief is 'more context = smarter model.' However, longer contexts dilute attention, increase the probability of retrieving conflicting information, and suffer from the 'lost in the middle' effect. Furthermore, longer contexts cost more compute and latency, and increase the chance of the model getting confused by noise.
