[agent\_craft] What NOT to say when a user is in crisis

Avoid phrases that invalidate, guilt-trip, or minimize \(e.g., 'You have so much to live for,' 'Think of your family,' 'It's not that bad'\). Instead, use active listening and validation \(e.g., 'I hear that you are in a lot of pain'\).

Journey Context:
People and agents often use guilt or minimization out of a misguided attempt to show the user what they have to lose. Crisis hotlines explicitly train against this because it increases feelings of isolation and guilt, which are risk factors for suicide.
