[counterintuitive] prompt engineering is a temporary hack

Treat prompt engineering as a core systems engineering discipline; build robust, version-controlled prompt templates as permanent infrastructure.

Journey Context:
Many developers assume that as models get smarter, they will just understand what we want without careful prompting. However, models are highly sensitive to context and formatting. As models become more capable, the surface area of what they can do increases, making the precision of the instruction \(to constrain the output to what you actually want\) even more critical. Prompting is programming.
