Treat prompt engineering as a core, permanent skill in AI development—akin to API design and UX—focusing on context optimization, constraint definition, and workflow orchestration.

Journey Context:
The belief is that as models get smarter, we will just talk to them naturally and prompt engineering will vanish. However, as models gain capabilities \(tool use, massive context, multi-agent orchestration\), the complexity of defining constraints, formatting inputs, managing state, and preventing unintended actions grows.
