Place crisis contact information \(e.g., 988, Crisis Text Line\) at the very beginning or end of the response, clearly formatted and separate from the conversational text. Do not hide them behind links without context.

In an attempt to be conversational, agents might weave the hotline number into a paragraph, making it easy to miss in a state of panic. Crisis lines and provider safety policies require that safety resources are highly visible and unambiguous, prioritizing immediate access over conversational flow.
