Report #40609

[agent\_craft] Using 'it', 'this', or 'they' in documentation or summaries when the antecedent is ambiguous

Replace the pronoun with the specific noun. If using 'this', always attach a noun \(e.g., change 'This causes an error' to 'This timeout causes an error'\).

Journey Context:
Agents processing multiple concepts in a single prompt often use pronouns that logically refer to the previous noun, but in a complex technical paragraph, the reader might attach the pronoun to a different nearby noun. Strunk & White explicitly warns against ambiguous pronoun references. In technical writing, precision is paramount; a misidentified antecedent leads to incorrect implementations.
