Report #40239

[agent\_craft] Summarizing technical documents or issues in a way that drops critical caveats or distorts the original meaning

Preserve the original scope and conditionals \(e.g., 'might', 'only if', 'except'\) in the summary, and explicitly state what was omitted rather than silently dropping nuance.

Journey Context:
To save tokens or reading time, agents often strip out conditionals and edge cases, turning 'This API is deprecated for v2 users but required for v1' into 'This API is deprecated.' This distortion causes bugs. A summary must be a strict subset of the truth. If the summary cannot hold the nuance, it must signal that detail was omitted \(e.g., 'Deprecated for v2 \(v1 caveat omitted\)'\).
