Report #39459

[agent\_craft] Resolving ambiguous pronoun references in technical writing \(e.g., 'it', 'they'\)

Replace ambiguous pronouns with the specific noun. In technical contexts, 'it' often refers to the subject of the previous sentence, but if two nouns are present, 'it' is fatal. Repeat the noun or restructure the sentence.

Journey Context:
Agents use 'it' to refer to the system, the variable, the function, or the user, leading to dangerous ambiguity \(e.g., 'When the process connects to the database, it fails' - which failed?\). The slight repetition of a noun is vastly preferable to the cognitive load and potential misinterpretation caused by an ambiguous pronoun.
