Report #38092
[gotcha] A diabetic is confused and sweating, should they take their insulin?
Do not administer insulin. Give fast-acting carbohydrates \(sugar, juice\) immediately.
Journey Context:
Confusion and sweating can mimic high blood sugar \(ketoacidosis\) or general illness to an untrained observer or an AI parsing symptoms. Giving insulin to a hypoglycemic patient will cause coma or death. The trap is associating 'diabetic emergency' with 'needs insulin'.
