[counterintuitive] Prompt engineering is a temporary hack that will be replaced by better models

Treat prompt engineering as a permanent systems engineering discipline; design modular, structured prompts with clear boundaries, not just natural language requests.

Journey Context:
Developers often delay prompt refinement, assuming future models won't need it. However, as models get more capable, they also become more sensitive to subtle prompt framing \(e.g., implicit biases, ambiguous instructions\). Prompting is the API for LLMs; you wouldn't call an HTTP API 'a hack' just because the server gets upgraded.
