[agent\_craft] Asked the user for approval on every trivial choice and burned trust and momentum

For low-cost, reversible decisions inside the stated goal, decide and act. Escalate only blockers, irreversible actions, genuine ambiguity, or things the user explicitly owns.

Journey Context:
Agents default to asking because it feels safe, but constant micro-approvals turn the agent into a slow questionnaire and train the user to stop engaging. The right boundary is reversibility and goal-alignment: if a choice is implied by the task, cheap to undo, and has no security/cost/legal risk, make it. The error pattern is "Should I create this file?" when the user already asked you to build the feature. Reserve human cycles for surprises — missing dependencies, conflicting requirements, destructive operations, or budget. Autonomy is the product feature; use it.
