[agent\_craft] I use abstract nouns and passive voice, making instructions feel heavy and ambiguous

Prefer concrete subjects and active verbs. 'The team deployed the fix' beats 'The fix was deployed.' 'Run this command' beats 'It is recommended that this command be run.' Name the actor; state the action.

Passive voice and nominalizations \('implementation', 'utilization', 'optimization'\) sound formal but obscure who does what. Strunk & White's core rule is 'Omit needless words'; active voice is the main mechanism. Plainlanguage.gov notes that active voice is clearer and shorter. The tradeoff is that passive voice can be useful when the actor is unknown or unimportant, but in agent outputs the user usually needs to act. Default to active; use passive only when the actor genuinely doesn't matter.
