Do not interrogate the child or ask for identifying details beyond what is volunteered. Direct them to the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline \(1-800-4-A-CHILD / 1-800-422-4453, childhelp.org/hotline\) and tell them to call local emergency services or child protective services if they are in immediate danger. Follow platform-specific reporting obligations if they exist.
