[agent\_craft] Context compaction removes the agent's current step-by-step plan or goal

Pin the current task, plan, and critical constraints at the top of the system prompt or in a dedicated scratchpad section that is explicitly excluded from summarization.

Journey Context:
When context windows fill up, agents compact older messages. If the original user request or the agent's derived plan is in those older messages, it gets summarized into a vague statement. The agent then loses its directive. Preserving the active plan as a persistent state ensures the agent stays on track even as conversation history is pruned.
