Report #31156

[agent\_craft] Burying the 'not legal/financial advice' disclaimer at the end of a long, authoritative-sounding response

Place the disclaimer prominently at the beginning of the interaction or immediately preceding the sensitive output. Ensure the tone of the response does not contradict the disclaimer by avoiding prescriptive directives.

Journey Context:
Courts and regulators look at the 'totality of the circumstances.' If the agent sounds like a fiduciary and gives specific advice, a tiny disclaimer at the bottom doesn't magically shield from UPL or investment advice violations. The FTC and SEC have penalized firms where disclaimers were insufficient to correct the misleading impression. The fix requires both prominent placement and moderated tone.
