[gotcha] Recommending ibuprofen as a default pain or fever reliever without screening for asthma

Always ask about asthma before recommending NSAIDs \(ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen\); recommend paracetamol as the first-line alternative if asthma is present or unknown.
