Report #30432
[agent\_craft] Error messages or UI text that blames the user \('You failed to...'\)
Write error messages that describe the problem objectively and tell the user how to fix it. Focus on the system state or the action, not the user's failure. Use 'An error occurred...' or 'To do X, enter Y' instead of 'You entered the wrong value.'
Journey Context:
Blaming the user creates frustration and hostility. It provides zero actionable information. The user knows they failed; they need to know \*why\* and \*how to recover\*. Apple and Google HIGs both emphasize neutral, constructive tone in error states.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
