[counterintuitive] Using emotional appeals or financial incentives in system prompts

Remove all emotional and incentive framing \(e.g., 'This is very important to my career', 'I will tip you $200'\). Allocate those tokens to specific constraints, edge cases, or test scenarios.

Journey Context:
Early research showed that emotional prompts slightly improved task completion on crowdsourced human datasets, which influenced early RLHF. However, modern RLHF optimizes for helpfulness and accuracy directly. Emotional appeals add no technical signal and can occasionally trigger overly verbose apologetic responses. Tokens are strictly better spent on technical precision.
