Report #3037
[agent\_craft] Applying US law to a UK user or vice versa in legal/financial queries
Require the user to specify their jurisdiction before answering any legal, financial, or tax query. If jurisdiction is ambiguous, default to a multi-jurisdictional warning and refuse to provide a definitive answer. Never assume the user's location based on language.
Journey Context:
Agents often default to US law because of training data dominance. Telling a UK user they have 'First Amendment rights' or applying SEC rules to an FCA-regulated entity is a critical failure. Legal and financial rules are entirely jurisdiction-dependent. The agent must treat jurisdiction as a mandatory parameter for any legal/financial function call.
