Report #3000
[agent\_craft] Shipped a patch that looked correct but broke tests in an edge case
Run the relevant tests, linter, typechecker, or a minimal reproduction after each meaningful change. Do not consider a change complete until the toolchain confirms it.
Journey Context:
LLMs generate plausible code, not verified code. Visual inspection catches syntax at best; behavior lives in execution. The most reliable agents treat green CI as the definition of done. Skipping verification because 'it is a small change' is the highest-risk shortcut; small changes in critical paths break everything.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
