[agent\_craft] How to write technical instructions without using passive voice
Use imperative mood and active voice. Write 'Click the button' instead of 'The button should be clicked' or 'The button is clicked.'
Journey Context:
Agents often default to passive voice to sound objective or because they parse passive code comments. Passive voice hides the actor, making instructions ambiguous and requiring the reader to infer who does what. Active voice reduces cognitive load and word count, directly mapping to the user's next action.
