Report #2587

[research] LLM swaps attributes between closely related entities \(e.g., assigning a method to the wrong class\)

Use structured data extraction or knowledge graph lookups for entity-attribute bindings rather than free-text generation for factual relationships.

Journey Context:
LLMs represent knowledge in distributed activations, leading to attribute bleed where properties of similar entities \(e.g., two competing tech companies\) get conflated. Free-text generation amplifies this. Structured retrieval of specific entity-attribute pairs prevents the model from relying on its fuzzy parametric associations.
