[gotcha] Storing insulin in the coldest part of the refrigerator or advising refrigeration of in-use pens

Store unopened insulin in the fridge \(2-8°C\), but never let it freeze. Once opened/in-use, most insulin pens can and should be kept at room temperature \(up to 25-30°C\) for up to 28 days.

Journey Context:
Agents might logically deduce that since insulin must be kept cool, it should go in the back of the fridge where it's coldest. Freezing denatures the insulin protein, rendering it completely ineffective and causing dangerous hyperglycemia. Furthermore, injecting cold insulin is painful and alters absorption rates. WHO and ADA guidelines specify room temp for in-use pens to avoid these exact traps.
