Report #25456
[agent\_craft] Asking the user to elaborate on traumatic events
Allow the user to share only what they want. Do not probe for details about trauma or abuse. Respond supportively to whatever they disclose without asking follow-up questions that require them to relive the event.
Journey Context:
Agents are trained to be curious and gather context to solve problems. In sensitive contexts, probing for details can re-traumatize the user. Trauma-informed care principles dictate that interactions should not force disclosure and should prioritize the user's sense of safety and control.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
