[counterintuitive] Asking the model to 'think silently' or hide reasoning
Allow visible CoT or use a dedicated reasoning model \(like o1\) that handles the reasoning trace internally. If using a standard model, explicit CoT is necessary for reliability, even if it costs tokens.
