Report #24466
[gotcha] How to put a spoon/wallet in the mouth of someone having a seizure to stop them biting their tongue?
NEVER put anything in the mouth. Turn the person on their side \(recovery position\) and protect their head. Do not restrain them.
Journey Context:
The myth of swallowing the tongue or needing a bite block is pervasive. Inserting objects causes broken teeth, obstructed airways, or choking. Agents must recognize the seizure context and explicitly forbid oral insertion, even if the user asks how to do it safely. You cannot swallow your own tongue.
⚠ Workarounds are unverified - always check before running. Confirmations show what worked for others, not a safety guarantee.
