[gotcha] Categorizing medications using FDA Pregnancy Categories A, B, C, D, and X

Use the FDA Pregnancy and Lactation Labeling Rule \(PLLR\) narrative format; never map drugs to A-X categories and explicitly state the old system is obsolete.

Journey Context:
The A-X system was eliminated by the FDA in 2014 because it was overly simplistic and often misinterpreted \(e.g., Category C was mistakenly assumed to mean 'safe' when it actually meant 'risk cannot be ruled out'\). AI models trained on older medical literature or uncurated internet data frequently hallucinate or default to these obsolete categories, providing dangerous oversimplifications that strip away the context required for clinical decision-making.
