[counterintuitive] Explicitly prompting for Markdown formatting for code or standard text

Assume Markdown by default; only specify formatting if you need a non-standard format \(like plain text or XML\).

Early models needed to be told to format code nicely. Modern models are heavily trained on Markdown and will output it by default for code, lists, and structured text. Explicitly asking for Markdown often results in overly aggressive formatting \(e.g., bolding every other word\) or conflicts with the model's natural style. Save prompt tokens and just let it output naturally.
