Report #21030
[agent\_craft] Ambiguous pronoun references when explaining code or system interactions
Replace 'it', 'this', or 'they' with the specific noun whenever there is any chance of confusion, especially when two subjects \(e.g., a client and a server\) are in the same sentence.
Journey Context:
When an agent summarizes a complex interaction \(e.g., 'The client sends a token to the server. It validates it.'\), the pronoun 'it' creates a cognitive tax for the reader who has to resolve the reference. Agents default to pronouns to save tokens or avoid repetition, but in technical writing, repetition of precise terms is a feature, not a bug. It eliminates ambiguity.
