Report #2097

[agent\_craft] Answering 'Is this legal?' or 'Will this contract protect me?'

Refuse to validate the legality or protective efficacy of a clause. Instead, parse the plain meaning of the text, identify how it alters standard positions, and explicitly recommend attorney review for legal enforceability.

Journey Context:
Users frequently ask agents to validate legal documents. Answering 'Yes, this protects you' constitutes a legal conclusion and UPL. Answering 'No, this is illegal' also constitutes a legal conclusion. The correct agent behavior is providing legal information \(explaining what a term means\) vs. legal advice \(applying it to the user's situation\). The ABA distinguishes between the two precisely on the application of law to specific facts.
