[tooling] Stealth plugins pass bot.sannysoft but fail on aggressive canvas/WebGL/font fingerprinting
Use Camoufox, a Firefox fork with C\+\+-level fingerprint injection. Install with pip and launch via its Playwright-compatible API; let it auto-rotate realistic fingerprints from BrowserForge.
Journey Context:
JS-based stealth shims can be detected by scripts that inspect property descriptors, prototype chains, or stack traces. Camoufox patches Firefox at the engine level so navigator, WebGL, fonts, WebRTC, AudioContext, screen, timezone, and locale are spoofed before JavaScript can introspect them. It uses BrowserForge's market-share-weighted distributions to keep fingerprints statistically realistic and internally consistent. Trade-off: it is Firefox-based, so sites that require Chromium-specific behavior may break, and the first run downloads a custom browser binary.
