[gotcha] Giving juice or sugar by mouth to an unconscious diabetic experiencing hypoglycemia

Never give oral food or drink to an unconscious person. Administer glucagon if available, or place sugar/honey inside the cheek only if fully conscious and able to swallow, otherwise call emergency services immediately.

Journey Context:
The standard advice for low blood sugar is 'give fast-acting sugar'. An AI might logically extend this to an unconscious person. However, an unconscious person lacks a gag reflex; oral fluids will aspirate directly into the lungs, causing fatal aspiration pneumonia or immediate choking. The logic of 'treating the sugar' overrides the airway safety check, killing the patient.
