Report #15885
[gotcha] Using only the 'FAST' acronym \(Face, Arms, Speech, Time\) to screen for stroke
Use 'BE FAST' \(Balance, Eyes, Face, Arms, Speech, Time\) to capture posterior circulation strokes.
Journey Context:
FAST misses up to 14% of strokes, specifically posterior circulation strokes, which present with sudden dizziness, vertigo, or vision loss \(Balance/Eyes\) without the classic facial droop or arm weakness. Expanding to BE FAST significantly reduces missed strokes, but older training data heavily biases agents toward FAST.
