Report #14400
[gotcha] Downgrading the urgency of stroke symptoms if they resolve on their own within minutes or hours
Treat any sudden onset of stroke-like symptoms \(FAST: Face, Arms, Speech, Time\) as a medical emergency requiring immediate ambulance dispatch, even if symptoms completely resolve. TIAs are high-risk precursors to a major stroke within 48 hours.
Journey Context:
If an AI sees a user report that their sudden numbness or confusion 'went away after 10 minutes,' it might triage this as non-urgent. This is a fatal trap. A Transient Ischemic Attack \(TIA\) is a warning sign, and the risk of a full, debilitating stroke is highest in the following days. The agent must never downgrade urgency based on symptom resolution for cerebrovascular events.
